What was the highlight of CH Bueno
Near perfect accommodation in the heart of Madrid!
The location couldn't be more central as the hotel is situated at a pedestrian shopping street, about 100m from the Gran Via, in close proximity to the Gran Via metro station. What this means in practice is that (with the window closed) you will not hear the noise of cars and there are no bars nearby, which makes it very quiet at night, however from 9a.m. onwards and until 10p.m. you will hear the constant noise of the crowd passing by. The building has an elevator but you will still need to go down about a dozen stairs as the elevator is located between the floors. Thus, you should get off at the 5th floor to access the 4th floor more easy with the luggage. If you think you will need help with the bags, you shouldn't hesitate to let the host know in advance, as he is a real gentleman and really attentive when needed. The room we stayed was flawlessly clean and spacious enough for two persons, accompanied with an equally clean bathroom, featuring a shower equivalent to those of 5 star hotels. Special mention should be given to the a/c. No noise, no smell, easy to control and is not facing the bed. In conclusion, one of the best rooms we stayed at on our extensive travels to Spain.
The mattress, even though of good quality, was hollow where it shouldn't be from overuse and that is the only reason I didn't rate this a 10/10.

A Great Stay in Madrid
The location of this hotel was just a few steps from Gran Via and walking distance to many major sights! It was extremely clean, well designed and thought out room with a very comfortable bed and good shower. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. We had no problems with noise as mentioned in other reviews. This is great value for money in the centre of Madrid!!!
